Booking terms

1. Requests and payment

The form submits a request, subject to verified availability. Captain Willy confirms a direct booking after personally checking the $220 PayPal deposit. The deposit counts toward the tour price.

Pay the balance on tour day in cash, or by card with 13% added to the balance. The website form does not charge you.

2. Customer cancellations and changes

Customer cancellations and seasickness do not qualify for a refund. Deposits are non-refundable unless Captain Willy cancels the tour.

You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. If you do not show up without that notice, there is no refund or reschedule.

Contact Willy to request a change or cancellation. The customer portal does not change or cancel bookings automatically.

3. If Captain Willy cancels

If Captain Willy cancels before departure because of weather or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund or rescheduling.

Once the boat departs, the full tour price is due even if you choose to return early.

4. Your group

Fishing, including combinations with fishing, takes up to 5 counted guests. Other activities take up to 6. Children aged 10 or older count toward the limit; children aged 2 to 9 do not. The minimum age is 2.

Confirm the number of guests and children’s ages with us before booking. If more people arrive than booked, the tour is cancelled. Follow the captain and crew’s instructions on board.

5. Meeting point and contact

Meet on the beach in front of El Chiringuito Restaurant in Tamarindo. Guests must reach the meeting point themselves; hotel pickup is not included.
